Built by the architect Renzo Piano, this emblematic place of Noumea will allow you to learn more about Kanak culture. From a visit to a traditional hut to the Kanak path show, not forgetting the art, you will be transported!

AQUARIUM

A visit to the aquarium will allow you to meet the main species found in New Caledonia. Come at 3pm to watch the feeding of the turtles, a volunteer from the aquarium will explain to you how to differentiate between the different species of turtles in the territory.

DIGITAL PAINTING

Dive into the world of illustration, comics or press cartoons where you will discover the techniques of this artistic universe with Nicolas Martin, Caledonian comic artist and author of the comic strip “Frimeurs des îles”.

VISIT TO THE MAISON DE LA PERLE AND THE MORAND CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Afternoon of beauty and awakening of the senses with a visit to a Tahitian cultured pearl workshop and its shop “La Maison de la Perle” followed by a dive into the world of chocolate at the Chocolaterie Morand.

During this afternoon, you will get to know this black pearl with its thousand reflections, a symbol of beauty and purity known throughout the world, and then you will take the time to taste some chocolates while discovering the manufacturing secrets of this master chocolate maker.

AMEDEE ISLAND DAYTRIP

The Amedee Lighthouse Islet is a popular stopover for visitors to New Caledonia. The Mary D team welcomes you aboard its ship to make your day unforgettable. Visit of the lighthouse, glass bottom boat, Pacific dance show and buffet lunch are on the programme. Departure at 8.30 am from the Moselle harbour!

YOGA

Start the day with a yoga session in the CREIPAC gardens, facing the lagoon. Your certified teacher will share with you her knowledge of yoga in all its forms: asanas, pranayama, meditation, (yoga mat on loan)

PONTON RESTAURANT

A unique place, only a few minutes from Noumea, to relax in peace and quiet. After your arrival, you will be served lunch. In the afternoon, you will have the choice between snorkelling, underwater observation, paddle, kayaking and also lazing around!

BOUGNA COOKING CLASS

You will have the opportunity to visit the Noumea market, to talk in French with local market gardeners and to cook the famous traditional Melanesian dish yourself! During the cooking, a weaving workshop with Nhamena, a Kanak “mother” will be offered. Nhamena will share her culture with you. This is an opportunity to use the lexicon that you have seen in class but above all to share a convivial meal together!
