The TCF IRN was designed for people who need to prove a level of French as part of a Contract of Republican Integration, an application for long-term residence or an application to acquire French nationality.
The TCF Tout Public is a language level test that assesses the general language skills of non-native speakers of French.
The TCF Québec meets the needs of a person who plans to begin permanent immigration procedures for Quebec.
The TCF Canada is a French language test that meets the standards of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The DELF and DALF are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language skills of foreign candidates and French nationals from a non-French-speaking country who do not hold a French public secondary or higher education diploma.
Starting May 12, 2025, the TCF Integration, Residence and Nationality (IRN) will allow candidates to be assessed up to level B2.
Following the enactment of Law No. 2024-42 of January 26, 2024, the French government’s new requirements regarding French-language proficiency are changing and will apply no later than January 1, 2026:
Naturalization: level B2 required
Resident card: level B1 required
Multi-year residence permit: level A2 required

DELF and DALF are official diplomas in French as a foreign language (FLE) issued by the French Ministry of Education.
They are valid for life and are internationally recognised.
DELF is composed of 4 independent diplomas corresponding to the levels of the CECRL: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1 and DELF B2.
DELF B2 is required to apply for French citizenship.
DALF consists of 2 independent diplomas corresponding to the advanced levels of the CECRL:
DALF C1 and DALF C2.

Professional training with CNED
Final exam at CREIPAC
The access test for the DAEFLE training takes place online. Only the final exam can be held at CREIPAC.
This test is administered by the Alliance Française in Paris.
It evaluates skills in reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and French language structure.

Prerequisites
Registration for the final exam of a skills module requires that the continuous assessment of the module is still valid.
You must have obtained a score of 20/55 or higher in the continuous assessment, achieved within the 14 months preceding the exam session.

Once registration and payment are completed at CREIPAC, you will receive a personalized exam notice one week before the tests.
