Our team


Laura has been working in the education field since 2010. Born from a British mother, she speaks both English and French at a native level. She graduated from a master in Teaching French as a foreign Language at the University of Aix-en-Provence in 2010. After two years of teaching English to high school students in New Caledonia in various schools in Nouméa, she moved to Australia in 2012 where she taught French at l’Alliance Française of Sydney. She has been back in New Caledonia since September 2016 and applies her skills and experience at CREIPAC. Laura is head of teaching and learning and gives  classes in General French and Business French.


Marie-Laure graduated with a double degree at the University of Stendhal Grenoble III in 2013: a Masters in Language Sciences as well as a diploma in French Language Teaching. She was then employed at Alliance Française in Nova Friburgo, Brasil after which she worked in Perth, Australia teaching French as a Foreign Language.

After gaining experience in two different countries, she moved to New Caledonia in 2016 and taught French as a Foreign Language to various students of all levels.

She is an accredited examiner for TCF (Test de connaissance du française) and DELF (Dipl^me d’étude de la langue Française) exams.

Marie-Laure is a fun and joyful teacher that is full of ideas and allows her classes to be lively and interactive for her students to help them improve easily in French.

Marie-Laure GRANGER

Isabelle has worked in several universities in France before moving to Tahiti to work as a librarian at the University of French Polynesia from 2010 to 2014. She has created online teaching resources to assist and develop students.

She arrived in New Caledonia in 2014 and became a teacher in French as a Foreign Language to high school students and adults. She also coordinated and trained students in French as a Second Language  with a non for profit association in Noumea.

Isabelle is patient and attentive to students’ needs, she delivers fun and interactive classes.

Michel works at CREIPAC as a casual teacher; Michel is familiar with the New Zealand culture. He graduated from a CELTA course at University of Technology of Oakland in 1991. Michel taught French as a foreign Language in various schools in New Zealand as well as at l’Alliance Française of Auckland. Michel is also a drama teacher, he delivers drama classes on a regular basis to adults and children.


After graduating in English literature from Poitiers University in 1998, Nathalie obtained a MA in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from Bordeaux III University in 2000. Dynamic and eager to travel and discover new places, Nathalie worked in England, Poland and France, before moving to New Caledonia in 2016. She has been teaching at CREIPAC for over a year. She is familiar with the communicative approach to languages and the use of digital tools in the classroom, her courses are interactive and lively. Nathalie knows how to adapt to our different students’ needs we receive and regularly uses games to facilitate learning.

Valérie originally comes from Britany, France. As many Brits have, she has left her native land to discover new cultures. Her experience is broad, she has worked in Cap-Vert for the Department of Foreign Affairs, in Tahiti, as well as in Reunion for the Department of Education. Her professional experience has led her to New Caledonia where she now works as the Director of CREIPAC. Valérie has a degree in International relations and a Masters in Teaching French as a Foreign Language.

Danielle is the librarian at CREIPAC and she is a bit of a “Mum” for the school. She is always in a good mood and provides you with information on Melanesian and Oceanian culture. Dany is also the exam coordinator, she organizes exam courses all through out the year at CREIPAC.

Louise is the receptionist. She is professional and discrete will keep you update throughout your stay.

Sophie started at CREIPAC in 2018, after 7 years of working in the tourism industry. She manages CREIPAC’s Facebook page, the website and organizes cultural events. Sophie loves playing tennis after a hard day work: the best way to enjoy New Caledonian sunsets !

Jeannette is CREIPAC’s cleaner and she ensures you have a nice time during your stay.

Olivier has been managing the maintenance of the building and the gardens of CREIPAC since 2007. As a food lover, he also organizes upon request coconut and bougna tasting. Olivier explains and demonstrates the preparation of this yummy traditional kanak dish.
